- Interpretation of the data displayed on the work screen
- Operation of the machine on tires
- Operation of the machine on stabilizers
- Limitations of safety devices
- Use of the emergency lowering function
- Use of the remote control
- Use of attachments and verification of their compatibility with the machine
This training is intended to meet the requirements of Québec’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (LSST), the Regulation respecting occupational health and safety, or the Safety Code for the construction industry.
This training model includes both theoretical and practical components, in accordance with the framework established by CSA B335, ANSI B56.6, or ISO 11525.
The objectives and durations are provided as a guideline for the instructor and for the participant, who will become familiar with the equipment and the related safety rules.
The program takes into account any prior experience the participant may already have and is based on a prior-learning recognition (competency-based) approach.
Depending on several factors, the duration of the training may vary (participant’s experience, environment and resource availability, number of machines, digital teaching tools, etc.).
The instructor may also propose activities that allow for the simultaneous assessment of several skills.
